Curriculum Consultant for Indigenous Education & Treaty Education

South East Cornerstone Public School Division (September 2019 – Present)

  • Support teachers in teaching about Treaties, Residential Schools, and Indigenous peoples’ historical and contemporary contributions to Canada​
  • Support teachers to integrate Treaty Education into multiple subject areas​
  • Develop partnerships with First Nations and Métis Elders, Knowledge Keepers, First Nations schools, and education authorities
  • Create opportunities for SECPSD schools to connect and build relationships with First Nations schools
